Ok so i get in my diesel yesterday to take it for a spin since its been sitting for 3 weeks. let it warm up a bit drive it nice and easy around town. I go to get onto the highway to blow it out. floor it from a 15mph roll and I hear this fast banging noise and the truck feels like it has major wheel hop in the rear. I got out of the pedel alittle and it went away the whole time the truck was moving forward without slowing down.

so im not sure what it could be. can the truck need rear shocks so bad that it can actually have wheel hop?

or is this friggen slushbox called a trans having issues?:dunno

with the information currently supplied, it sounds like wheel hop.
more testing necessary and report back with results.

Wouldn't you like to know
If your truck has a turbo I would call wheel hop. My buddy had a 94 F350 crew cab long bed & when you floored it it would wheel hop bad till you got out of it.
