dual vacuum pumps?

Im looking at this truck. 92 dually 5speed 2wd. 7.3 with an ATS kit. Not a 093...

Am I crazy or are these dual vacuum pumps

Now thats a first for me... I wonder if this rig was an ambulance rig at one time. Otherwise I'm wondering why a person would want 2 vacuum pumps like this.

On a manual? Maybe as added insurance for power brakes?




I bet it can suck the chrome off a trailer hitch though...

now thats odd.what would you add to a truck that you would want a devoted vac pump for?
i don't even have 1 anymore.

I think whats going on is the serp setup is a mix of OLD and new perhaps? I dunno...just guessing...

Is that a 085 kit? This truck is a 92

Looks like the air cleaner clip has been broken for a while :/
never like seeing stuff like that. but if u end up getting it, i have an 088 airbox in decent shape.

Yeah I know... that and the dirty engine bay make me believe its a bit used. 220k

Does this truck have a gooseneck ball or 5th wheel?? The 2nd vacuum pump could possibly be for a trailer they used that had vacuum hydraulic brakes. I know some early bigger trailers had that kind of brake set up and would definately need the extra vacuum...

My '89 sig. truck has that same airbox on it...what model of turbo would that be? And is it one of the better ones?

Thats the ATS 088 non wastegated kit. I prefer the 093 kit and would like to find one and change out my turbo kit.
