Would a drive shaft from a 1990 F350 5.8 eo40 be the same length as an 87 F350 6.9 C6?

Thank's for the answer. I was gonna take the gasser shaft out change the u joints then put it in the 6.9. I wanted to minimise down time.

If I were to swap my C6 to an EO4D can the same torque converter and flywheel be used?

Thanks agian, thats good about the flywheel. I can get an eo4d (supposedly rebuilt by Ford less then 2 yrs ago) for $100-$200. It had the torque conv. and i'm sure the guy still has the shift modual.

Would I have to swap the steering colume or will it adapt to the 87 style?
