I put it in today, slid right in. I replaced the tapered roller bearings, synchros, and the input shaft. I had a little end play in the main shaft but I went with it. If something fails I probably won't be able to tell if it is related to the play or an alignment issue. The trans makes some noise but it's a lot quieter than the old one. It seems to shift good though.
