deleted posts

i notice the software asks me for a reason for the deletion. does anyone else fill it out besides me?
do the admins/mods read the reasons. just curious.

I have noticed many more deleted post than I ever thought we would have.... The other software must have deleted them totally...

If you enter the reason for editing your post... it tags it in your message. kind of nice.

what about attachments? do you get to view those too? you guys have a great job. I suppose there's a folder out of our view with deleted stuff in it.

In all seriousness, there has to be proof for any action. Just like at a good workplace, they document EVERYTHING... Its the same here. From the beginning, we have tried to run this place very professionally, and it has worked out well.

Naw, that was just a long answer for yes, there is a forum full of every deleted anything...

TDS is supposedly the same way. There is a forum that only the mods can see, and any "questionable" post or deleted post gets sent there for review by the mods before full deletion.

The PHPBB software we use on my local ATV site does NOT log deleted posts but we do have a private area we can send stuff if the mods remove something, but not the end user.
