Dana 50 axle shaft spline count ???

I've got to change the rotors and front brakes on my 93 F250 4X4 soon. Since I'm going that far, I am going to change the wheel bearings and seals out as well. While I'm in there with everything apart, I was thinking of changing the stock manual locking hubs out with a new set of Mile Marker manual locking hubs that I can get a good deal on now.

Question........... Does anyone know if the Dana 50 that came on the 93 F250 4X4 has a 30 spline axle shaft ??? Seems I have seen they could have a 30 or 35 spline count.


I know the easiest way to find this out would be to tear it apart and look but I don't have the locknut socket at this point to remove the hubs and I wasn't going to do this work for another month or so but was wanting to pick up the hubs now since I can get a good deal on them.

Stock D60's of our era and the D50's are 30 spline at the wheel, 35 spline stub axles for the 60 are aftermarket other than the 05+ Super Dutys.
