Quick question for the D60 front axle gurus: Is there an easy way to identify spline count for the inner axles on a Dana 60 High-Pinion?
This is for a later balljoint style that came out of a 1995 F350 (the one I retrofitted in my F250).
Everything I've read tells me it should have 35 spline inner at the differential spider gears, and 30 spline outer at the lockout hubs. But could there be other options as well?
I'm trying to avoid opening it up to identify.
