Cruise controll on a NON tilt column?

So the new truck need a turn signal switch and the tilt is loose. It's an 86 auto with cruise and tilt. I have a new tilt/cruise switch and also a non tilt auto column. So to keep the cruise control can I use the new switch on a regular column?

Shouldn't be a problem, I have/had an '84, '85, and '86. All had cruise, only the 86 had tilt.

me too. ive owned 2 solid column slant nose trucks with cruise control
