That would be a great van to transport sheet metal parts from the west to the east salt belt areas. Build some racks to keep the rust free metal nice and not needing repairs from shipping. Drag a trailer with core supports and your golden. Now what could I bring back with me to the west coast... Ammo in the free to own states...

Very true, although I have to say that, even when cherry, the factory front seats on that era E-series van are miserable for long trips...when I had my van, I ended up shelling out the money for a more comfortable seat, even though it didn't match the interior color (tan interior; blue seat). In retrospect, I wish I had held on to that seat, but too late now...
