thought you guys would like this. the guy in this thread got his sg. down to .85. #2 is .84 sg. (sg= fluid thickness). he mixed 33% k-1 and 66%wmo.
came out to the viscocity of #2 diesel.
.01 difference isnt enough to worry about:rolleyes:

but for each batch of wmo you get the sg will be different because of the different weights of oils in that barrel.

im thinking that if i get my sg. down to the same as diesel,
and then use a centrifuge to clean it untill it starts turning dark brown instead of black
then make sure it doesnt have any water in it
my cr cummins wont even know the difference except for the different combustion characteristics. (probably slight difference anyhow, after adding that much k-1)
then run some water injection to help with the coking and its all good;Sweet
maybe even add some 2 stroke oil to make up for the k-1 :dunno

so any how... i thought it was a good read

I was given 20 gallons of K1 last week and mixed it with 20 gallons of WMO. The truck ran better than it ever has, on that mix! I can run 50/50 WMO/#2 and it's not nearly as good as the WMO/K1 mix. :dunno
