I have a 1988 f250 centurion. Its got a dually rear end and the stock TTB front axle with dually hubs. This is what the rear tag reads.

2 V125C
3.55 1027130

Can any one help me ID this, I would like to do my brakes. I am assuming it is a Dana 80 out of a '88 f350.

I don't know based on those numbers but its most likely a sterling. My 91 has a Sterling and the 89 I parted out had a Sterling. Obviously 3.55 gears unless they've been swapped.

So maybe its a Ford/Sterling 10.25. That thought is based on the cover shape.

if you google axle identification chart and identify the cover like mentioned that should help get you a positive ID. like mentioned though, it is most likely a Ford/Sterling 10.25 that you might need to check the brake shoe width for depending on axle rating.
