My 108 gph fuge decided to stop spinning this weekend out of the blue, and for the life of me I couldnt figure out what was wrong. It was clean, was getting plenty of pressure, but it would NOT spool. I could barely spin it by hand! So I email'd Joe @ PaBioDieselSupply on a Sunday, and got a response SAME DAY (hows that for service!!!)

Joe asked me if I would beat on the top bushing to separate the rotor (which I often have to do) It was Joe's suggestion that I take a pencil sized file and debur the top of that brass bushing as it had probably mushroomed some. So I did that this evening, and sure enough! Back in business!

Soooooo.... lesson learned, hoping to let others avoid: DO NOT pound on that top brass bushing at the top of the rotor assembly. If you need some pressure to separate the pieces; loosen the top nut til it's nearly off, then tap on that nut vs. the brass bushing.
