I got a couple barrels from a car wash that I assume had some type of soap. I've rinsed them out a couple of times and am wondering if I should be concerned about using them for wmo? They still have a faint soapy smell. I just don't want to have anything harmful leaching into my fuel. Any thoughts?

Yeah I've got them rinsed out good, but my father-in-law got it in my head that something may leach into the oil and cause a problem, and since no one I know does wmo or wvo I figured I would ask someone who does. I figure whatever was left would be so diluted with 50 gallons of diesel and oil that it would be harmless. Thanks!

If they are white, keep them out of the sun, or they will degrade, crystalize & crack. Black barrels are more UV resistant.
