i thought about welding it and stuff. i had my heart set on swapping it for an E4OD. however after pondering it extensively (couldnt sleep...) i decided ive put way too much effort into swapping in the np205 and stuff. i hate the hard clutch pedal not neccessarily the shifting. so im just going to get a SMF kit and be done in an afternoon.
If you hate a hard clutch pedal, then you need to call teh folks at Ft Wayne Clutch and get one of their rebuilt kevlar clutches . Get the 12 1/4" flywheel and a kevlar clutch kit to go with it ( blow a few extra bucks and get a kevlar pilot bushing as well ) the friction surface on those things are so grabby that they can build them with lighter springs in the pressure plate and don't require a heavy pressure plate to grab. I tow heavy all teh time and just LOVE mine, if it weren't for this clutch I'd have had to put a slushbox in , because my knees are gone with my arthritis
