Hello,
I am in the process of installing a Doug Nash O/D to my c6 e250. Can anyone tell me what the electrical connector that plugs into the stock c6 tailhousing at the the speedo cable location is used for? There is no place on the DN for it. Please tell me it isn't for the Cruise Control.

Is this the connector you're looking at jayro88?

Mechanical Speedo Cable, with an Electrical Connector next to it?

That connector is a VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) and is normally part of the parameters read
by your transmission controller, but could also be for braking, and, yes... ...cruise control

Yep. Looked at it agian when I got out of work. I think I figured out a way to remove it from the tailhousing and install it between the stock cable and the Doug Nash extension. Thanks for the pic.
