So I got this parts trucks engine running quite well now. Replaced all of the return line caps, orings, and lines. Replaced some other fuel lines, ran a new fused cable to the solenoid, changed oil, flushed coolant, and tightened the belts. She starts, idles, and runs great. There is always a but...In this case she runs great BUT if I goose it in park right after i get off the fuel it puffs a little bluish smoke. Other than that zero smoke. It only seems to do it under quick deceleration out of gear. I want to make sure everything is good before I throw it into my 78. I also picked up the manual 1356 tcase and e4od transmission. There are no unusual noises, pops, exhaust leaks(as far as I can tell) or anything other negative signs. Well the tach doesnt seem to work.
