Better build opinions 7.3 or 6.9

If I was to pull my skid steer loader I would be about 16k. The truck is 8600lbs empty. The tag-a-long behind it with the skid steer on it would also be approximately 8k. So I feel a build comparable to yours would be fine for me. Empty it should be fun to drive!

You have Mel's "Moose boost" turbo correct? Is that based on the Hypermax turbo, or is it the Hypermax plumbing with a custom build turbo?

I think mel is trying to have a kit based on the hypermax setup with his turbo, but its still in the making.

the last thing I towed was my trailer and some scrap metal and I did better then I thought. I was able to stay around 65 in OD and was still passing some Priuses. the total weight on the scale about 15,500, my truck and trailer empty are 12,000 and it does that no problem. heath has some more weight them me but im sure it pulls much better.
