belt setups

i think there is 4 different belt styles on the 7.3. 1 with 3 v belts 2 has 4 v belts 3 two different s belt styles. am i wrong?

Yes on the V belts:
1) non-A/C: front crank water and PS, middle crank water and vacuum, rear crank water and alt;
2) non-A/C: front crank water and PS, middle crank water and PS, rear crank water and alt;
3) factory A/C: front crank water and A/C, middle crank water and PS, rear crank water and alt, short alt and vacuum

Dunno about serpentine belts tho...

All serpentine belt running paths are the same but... You can find differant belt lengths too. Some engines have the much larger alternaters or some ambulance packages actually have the double alternaters setups...

serpentine belt have 2 different tenseners. once cheaper than the other one. the one on my old 93 was 100 bucks
