There are some of us on the West Coast...I live in the S.F. Bay Area, although I'm fairly regularly down in Los Angeles visiting family (in fact, I'm in L.A. at the moment but driving home later today).
FWIW you may want to take a look in the 6.9l/7.3l IDI section. While there are people roaming around every part of this site, I'd say that the majority of the active site members are over there.
