I too tilt my guages so they read in the up position.

I did one of those for my ranger when I was 18 or so. It looked like crap up close, but from 10 feet or so, it was pretty cool.

Aside from that, what paint did you use? I too think it is too shiny but will try to find something for me to use in the same way when I start doing my pod (in the exact same spot).

Well its been a week and the excitement died a little, and I saved all those pics onto my computer for "future reference". So I think this is an appropriate time to hijack the thread and ask where did you get clear fender/hip lights? That would look sick!

Did you fix the sheen issue?

If you have not touched it and still want to knock the shine down, I was watchin trucks and they said the red scuff pads are the ones used for that when they had to knock the shine off of one of the electrolisys covered new parts.

I think thats only to get some mechanical "tooth" for the primer/paint to adhere to.
