Got some of the Penncool 3500 today

http://www.penray.com/products/products.asp?x=1&y=302&y3=308&y4=345&articlesource=345

Seems to be directed right at preventing liner and block pitting. Seems like most of the other SCAs are made more for Semi trucks.

Thought I'd report that it is the same pinkish purple like the FleetCHARGE (not to be confused with FleetGUARD) that Napa and Tractor Supply sell as a pre-charged Coolant. Not real surprising since it is a Penncool SCA in FleetCHARGE, I just can't seem to find a place where they really say which one.

Had to buy a case from International, but it was only $30.12 for all 12 so not to bad. More than I need so I suppose if someone local wants a bottle or two let me know.

So do you have to check this with strips as well or not? The page doesn't give any instructions

Well, I guess I got a little more oz. per dollar but I bet yours goes farther.

To treat an untreated system of 8 gallons with the stuff would take 16 bottles.

Come to think of it, I may use this case up quicker than I think. I'm just doing the maintenance amount, but if I do that every year or two it'll be gone quick.

I need test strips now, really wish I thought of that before.
