how religious was he on his oil changes?
the balance shaft on the drivers side cylinder head would get oil starved from gummed up oil passages and put a motor on a self-destruct path.

Go find a 6.0...........;Poke

if i did it would damn near have to be in the 1k-1500.
and i would do an engine swap first off.
i prefer to stick to my 7.3's
i would poke fun at the 6.0's but i dont feel like making you cry.
ive have enough of that going on here at the house :D

Heck no....buy it if you can afford the fuel. Every v10 that came thru the shop at FORD had 300k and plus. The guy that hauled our cars to the auction had a 2000 model 4x4 srw 350 with 429k on the clock...they are great if you can feed them....:D

decided to spend the money on a guest house.

i prefer diesel, ill just wait till the right one comes along.

or build one out of my 01 F250, since the body is beat to hell anyways, a wrecked excursion without drivetrain
will be cheaper :)
