You'll need a vacuum hand pump & gauge. Use return spring to hold throttle wide open. Put the pump on the vac pump side and the gauge on tranny side. Pump up to 20" on pump & should be about 13" on gauge side. Now cycle throttle a few times and use 33/64ths. drill bit as a gauge block on idle side of throttle when you cycle throttle so it doesn't close completely. Gauge should read 6-8". If not loosen VRV on IP & adjust until you do. You can also adjust modulator on tranny by removing hose & turning screw in or out to adjust shifts a couple MPH. This is really only fine tuning. The VRV is where you can adjust the most. Hope this helps.

Sorry, now I am jealous, I have the E4OD and have had eneough of it! Sounds like a big job. Would it be worth having someone else set it up? or like you said, a tweek at a time and get it where you want it.
