hry yall, we are interested in getting a 97 powerstroke 1ton 2wd reg cab. the truc itself it almost gone. i am wondering if the motor, trany, and rear end are good and how much they might be worth. thanks

• What is the physical appearance of the running gear?

Are you going to drive it as is or strip it for the running gear?

From your initial description I would have to say REAL CHEAP would be a fair price.

i don't know the miles, but it is an auto, does not drive, the owner said it cranked over but he did not have all the electronics hooked up. he said the trany is in good shape. it was hit in the front so the owner that had it at the time just took the front clip and bed off.he also cut the driveshaft in half, so he did not hook all of the electronics back up. it looked like he was going to scrap the motor and everything with it. we plan on just selling all of it.

Wow, to me even less than that once you factor in the labor you have to disassemble it and then dispose of what you cant sell.
