'95 7.3 PSD Starter Question...

Turn the key, get a clunk. Reach underneath and jump the starter with a screwdriver and it spins right over. Bad solenoid or bad starter?

replace the solenoid on the passengers side fender.and check the wire from it to the starter as i have had them break off,bad connections and all that with that 1 stupid little wire.
