my very own hell
Doubt truck was actually "bad", more of "questionable". Still having someone drive from 2 states away is a liability of sorts, especially with a vehicle that's not 100%. I personally wouldn't feel comfortable as a seller in such situation, as a local buyer can get a tow easy and cheap enough if truck breaks down, while an out of state buyer would be up a creek without a paddle if the trans lets go halfway own his trip home - I for sure wouldn't want that on my conscience!

In all fairness he said the truck started developing back oressure issues when it warmed up and he didnt want me to get stuck. I got 400 miles of free towing with caa so it wouldnt have been a problem.
Just wish he kept me in the loop thats all.
Oh well, it wasnt my dream ideal truck anyway, maybe it wasnt meant to be.
no hard feelings towards seller, just like i said, poor way to handle the situation.
