6.9l Coolant System Schematics?

IN plmbing my heat exchanger I want to use unused coolant ports on my 6.9l - many here have suggested using the driver's side head port for outbound - I was hoping to find an inbound "suction" port as well to pipe back to.

Just wondering if anyone knows of a cooling system schematic online or has one that could be scanned and posted?

Something like that but showing all the outbound fittings and inbound ones so I can plumb a heat exchanger not using the ones used for the heater core...

There is a plug in the back of the head that would be out, and one in the front that would be in?

All head fittings are pressure, the only free return is in the top of the water pump, the shuttle bus I just worked on was rear heater plumbed this way.

That's great news if it's the case. If there are clearance issues would the be some some of system imbalance issue if I was to plumb my return (from a head outbound port) into the heater core return?
