Okay I know its somewhere but I couldn't find the thread. I am putting a 6.9 where a 7.3 used to be. I will be using the zf5. Which clutch set up should I use? I plan on using the 6.9 flywheel. Also will I need to bore out the dowell holes in the bellhousing? What else am I missing?

IIRC, you need to keep the flywheel, clutch, and tranny together. Meaning, you cannot use the flywheel from a T19 with a ZF5 and vise versa. If the 6.9 came from a '87 that had a ZF tranny, then you'll be fine. If it came from Ford with a T19, you'll need the flywheel from your 7.3. There apparently is a input shaft length difference that will cause an issue if parts are mixed and matched .............. again, if I remember correctly.

Yup. Just remember that the transmission goes with the clutch and flywheel. Everything is the same from the crank mouting flange forward. What's this about bolt holes? You shouldn't have to change anything there.
