Hello, At the moment I have a 1978 Ford F150 with a 400m and a C6 auto tranny. i want to Swap it to a Borg Warner T-19. The Borg Warner T-19 is off of a 6.9 IDI. I'm wondering if anyone knows weather the Bell housing will match up and if now what bell housing would i need.

I know that the 400M is based of the 351M. i cant find anything online about what bell housing would be needed to swap the T-19 to the 400M

Anyones input would be greatly appreciated.

(By the way Yes i have thought of dropping the 6.9 in to my truck with the T-19. but im saving the 6.9 for a bigger 60's-70's Crew-cab Dually 4x4)

From what i know the 400m has the same bell housing bolt pattern as the 460 and the 429, but idk about the 6.9 IDI.

Or if you want, I have a tranny and/or bellhousing that you would be able to use. I mean, in exchange for the 6.9s bellhousing and/or tranny of course...

We are both in WI, so this would just mean a little ride to meet depending where you are.

And I do have a C6 for the 6.9 as well as a lot of 70s truck parts. We 'Sconnies need to stick together!
