A couple more questions.
What is this going in?
is it a daily driver, weekend warrior?
I am going to guess 4x4 pickup so
cam 212/218 at .050 256 comp extreme energy, any more and torque drops, less cam will need lower compression.
hydraulic roller would even be better for torque numbers.
22 dish piston 0 deck the block nets 9.4-9.5. .005 in the hole to .005 out is good. with iron heads
14 dish 0 deck with aluminum 10.5, I have never built an aluminum head sbf, so just and educated guess.
Zero decked block works well in sbf, ford even started putting pistons .004 out on the latter 5.0.
If you opt to not 0 deck you will have less compression, less torque, less detonation resistance.
Good dual plane such as an edelbrock performer rpm or weiand stealth.
