Hey everyone.
Been on here for a while but on the IDI side.
I just purchased a 1997 12V auto dually 2wd.
Price was right but now have to solve problems on it.
Here is the issues.
Issue one-no charge from alternator (believe I have that fixed somehow)
Second-no speedo or tach
Third-tranny don't wanna shift even when I try manual although it will a little bit.
Now I have gapped the crank sensor and I also located and notice the cam sensor (has no pigtail) indicating the engine has been swapped possibly with a 24v?
It has a new engine Barnes and it appears all the necessary connectors are connected, but there are several that go "nowhere".
I am a good shade tree mechanic but I won't claim to know it all and I don't always follow all of the terminal loft on these sites.
Any help will be great from you guys.
