i'm looking to put a 1993 7.3 idi in an old f 150, recently i found a '88 for sale in real nice shape will the 7.3 fit in an 88 easier than a 70's pickup which is what i was planning on doing?

Yes. The 88 will swallow the idi no problem. As for the nite moose f150 swap.. That was a great sucess. It was a ZF5 speed swap too. Stepside bed. That truck got 29.5 mpg driving home from the 2009 rally too. Now what car or truck can haul anything you want. Get 29.5 mpg and not give you any trouble. Hell even some of the fuel saving small cars can't give you that kind of mileage let alone haul home a bed or sofa..

When I did my Bronco, I decided to upgrade to F250 running gear front and back. I thought that it might be ******* bearings in the half ton front end. I could have been wrong, but I feel better that way. If you want to keep the diesel radiator, you will need to change core supports. I liked my carbed Bronco for the fuel system and the electronics seemed easier to work with too.
