Anybody here timed their truck from 0-60mph @WOT? preferably SRW, auto trans, turbo trucks...model of turbo doesn't matter.

Are u using a gps / accelerometer phone app for that or you must have really good hand eye coordination. I put a little extra air in my tires tomorrow and drop the tailgate down and spool 'er up and see what I get.

stop watch on the phone....hit the start button as soon as i let off brakes(no brake boost), as soon as speedo needle hits 60, hit the stop button on the phone. not super exact or as good as gps or the like, but close enough for me.

My trucks 0-60 time is measured in weeks, if not months :rotflmao

That's ok though - it's paid for, reliable, and gets great mileage. ;Really

This is a great thread. When I changed my IP and injectors last fall I wanted a way to measure performance so I did the 0-100 KPH (0-60 for you 'Muricans) to get a feel for performance. With the old IP and injectors I got 19 - 21 seconds on several runs. Put the new IP, injectors and timed and it ran a consistent 19 seconds. :dunno

Well my stopwatch skills leave much to be desired...but if I could take a stab looks like I'm in the 13.5-14 sec range in my 1-ton CCLB 4x4 on 315's. Rest of my mods are in my sig...hopefully doing some tuning this weekend. See if that changes anything?

I'll give it a whirl when I got it up and running. NA, ZF 4x hmm...

Actually I have never tried this. I might someday try it. Might be interseting to see what a 6200 lbs rig with 3:55 gears can do..
