Looking at a 2006 F650 with a c-7 cat and an Eaton fuller 6 speed. Any chance this 6 speed would bolt to a 7.3L IDI? Thanks.- ColLonewolf

Think my pump Crapped on me.
Driving my 90 F350 when suddenly lost power and engine shut down. Would restart with much effort, run for a while then same thing. This happened about a dozen times on the way back to the house. She has a new filter and new fuel pump so guessing it must be the injection pump. Thoughts? Thanks.- ColLonewolf

Alternator Idler Pulley for V-Belts?
Anyone ever come up with the perfect idler pulley to take the slack out of the alternator belt so it will live longer? Searched for it but got nothing but serpentine. Thanks.- ColLonewolf

1994 Ford 7.3L ATS Turbo
So I got my hands on the motor from the above listed truck. 179K. Said it ran but not well. Need to build a stand for it and figure out what is what. Perhaps try to start it on the stand and see what not well is. Got everything but the down pipe and the intake to the ATS box. No oil in it...- ColLonewolf

78 Ford LN800 Brakes
Posted this in the wrong section initially. Looking at a 78 Ford LN800 with the 429 and auto trans. Seller says it is having brake issues and thinks it is the vacuum pump. Has air assist brakes. Brakes work at lower RPM but at speed does not maintain pressure. Thought the vacuum came from the...- ColLonewolf

Which ZF Trans
Which ZF transmissions bolt to the IDI? Will any diesel ZF bolt right up or only one from a 7.3L? Will the ZF-6 bolt to the IDI? What do you use for a clutch if so? Thanks.- ColLonewolf

Twins?
Has anyone ever tried to run twin turbos on an IDI rather than a single larger turbo? Not compound. Twins? Perhaps flip the exhaust manifolds, plop on two turbos, dual exhaust all the way out. Thanks.- ColLonewolf
