Early 7.3 had a big exhaust housing and none waste gated, if you don’t mind reving to 2500+ before you see boost they do work, 99+ 7.3 are waste gated and do better but they still aren’t a great fit for these engines.

And ther are reverse rotation. The 94-97 aren’t wastegated. There are 1.0 and .84 turbine housings available to replace the 1.15 original. There are other upgrades too. T4 flange. But because of the reverse rotation you are locked into one turbo.

The early 99 fits only that.
The L99-2003 is even more difficult to build a mount for, the exhaust housing has a Marmon clamp to mount to uppipes. .84 housing wastegate stock. If I had a choice I would go a different way. However If this is a run what ya brung type of deal, I have seen creative folks with crazy fab skills, lots of time and a very low budget pull off some amazing things!
