    Shifting problems Have you tried changing out the temp sensor on your trans line. IF the fluid gets over 270 degrees or so it will open the circuit to the PCM, causing it to drop out of OD, to keep the trans from burning up. If you have figured the problem out, what was it?

    That is how I "financed" my Cummins conversion on my 94' Ford 4x4 Crew Cab. Ford5.9 (Ford Truck+Cummins 5.9 motor= Ford5.9). I actually came out ahead about $700 after I was done and still have spare parts coming out of my ears for my 92 and 93 4x4 CCs. GO FOR IT!!!!!!

    That would be your easiest route to take. Plus you would have the nice driving characteristics of the Ford. I did the same thing to a 1981 Jeep CJ7. I pulled the body off and mounted it on a 1976 Chevy Blazer frame with a 350/turbo 350 combo......SWEEEEEEET!!!!!!

    Did you look into having a hotshot haul it and deliver it to your door? A friend of mine had his 32' Chevy shipped from Wyoming to Waco, Tx for around $850. Saved him alot of time and travel expense, and he did not have to worry about finding any bugs in the vehicle in route.
