What happens?
I am going to pick up a 95 f250 cheap, but was ran out of oil. What happens when this happens? Do the injectors stop firing before the bottom end goes bad?- Jake S.

'87 controller into '86 truck
Anybody have a clue to make the 8 or 10 wire connector by the heater work? I am putting a 1987 6.9 motor into my 1986 truck. I know I have to get rid of the relay on the fender and hook the big wires together. There is one extra wire in the '87 con. Any ideas?- Jake S.

Noises
Well I haven't posted about me own project lately but here goes. Truck had a intermittent knock sound so I pulled the valve covers and put a screwdriver on all the rockers. One matched the knock so I though it was a bad lifter. Then the project what on hold for a week and a half trying to get...- Jake S.

Bad IP?
I picked up a '84 f350 2wd dually reg. cab for a couple hundred $ last week. I replaced glow plugs (thanks AutoZone for the beru's;Sweet ) and orings and lines. The problem is that no matter what it won't fire w/o ether. I can plug it in for hours and no change. Fire it up, let it run till...- Jake S.

I got a cluster from a 1994 f-700. Fit right in. But the truck had a 5.9 cummins in it. From the pic, you can see that the tach is different. It only has three connectors on the film in the back. I traced them and one is battery power. one is ground, and one goes to the connector for the...- Jake S.

IP housing
I have a oil leak where the ip housing bolts to the block. What is the easiest way to remove the housing? I don't want to lose timing if I can help it. Could I use a bolt and washer or longer bolt and keep the gear from turning in the housing? Or does the ip have to come off?- Jake S.
