    Moose Diesel Poor Customer Sevice?

Does anyone know what’s going on with Moose Diesel? I sent them a return with no response from Suzi. I called and emailed her 2-3 times each and she’s never responded. Any wisdom or insight? I’m at the point that I’m about to leave a complaint on google place a complaint with the BBB. Any help...

Speedometer was ticking but now doesn’t work.

I have a 1993 F250 7.3 IDI. When I bought the truck the speedometer was accurate but it ticked and dropped when driving constantly at a constant rhythm. About 5000 miles later it just stopped working all together and sits a 0 now. Any ideas what this could be and where I should start looking?

New electric fuel pump dead at 20 miles.

Why would the pump stop working when I cracked open the drain valve on the fuel filter. Previous to that, my fuel filter light popped on a couple times while test driving it

New electric fuel pump dead at 20 miles.

I did. Just think it’s odd everything was running fine till I started draining my fuel filter and then it all crapped out. Fuses are all intact.

New electric fuel pump dead at 20 miles.

I just installed an Earls electric fuel pump. Turned the ignition and heard the pump spooling up. Took the truck for a drive and it started right up. Got home and thought I would drain the fuel filter. So, with the truck running, I opened the fuel filter drain valve and drained off any liquid...

Unusual coolant leak on 1993 7.3 IDI factory turbo

It really wasn’t that bad. I cleaned all the rust off and did the thermostat this summer too. Did a full coolant job and even added a coolant filter

Unusual coolant leak on 1993 7.3 IDI factory turbo

I’ve narrowed it down to the upper radiator hose at the top of the metal housing above the thermostat. BUT I just did that this summer… why would it be leaking? I can squeeze the upper radiator hose and see a slow ooze coming from there. I’m also using the stock tension style hose clamp. Should...

Unusual coolant leak on 1993 7.3 IDI factory turbo

No leak when hot, no leak at the peak of cold like middle of the night. It only happens when it’s cold and the day warms up some and the truck is not being driven.

Unusual coolant leak on 1993 7.3 IDI factory turbo

I have a 1993, 7.3 IDI factory turbo. It’s winter here in Wyoming and I only drive my truck on the weekends. I noticed that midweek and midday when I’m not driving my truck it has started to drip coolant from above the starter. I can’t tell where it’s coming from. One guess I have is the block...

    Parts becoming obsolete

I'm new to the IDI world and have found that parts are becoming obsolete. For example, I have the belt tensioner with the support shock (1 of the 3 variations ford created for belt tensioners on the IDI). Ford no long makes these parts as they are "obsolete according to two dealerships and the...

Temp gauge not working after coolant flush.

Hello everyone. Long time reader but first time poster. I was doing a coolant flush today and noticed that my temperature gauge stopped working immediately after the first flush. All the heater lines and radiator lines are hot to the touch. Any idea what’s going on?
