Injection pump signs of failure?
What are the signs of one going out? I put in new injectors and it fixed my knock but I'm still smoking white with a slight blue tint under throttle... need some advice
my number 1 cylinder, (closest to the radiator and passenger side), was running 30 Deg cooler than the rest.. used a laser temp gauge to read the exhaust manifold temps.. that one cylinder was the only one cooler then the rest by a lot.. the rest were within 3-5 Deg of each other.. from idle to...- slim072590

shimming Injectors?
I have read on here and some other site a a time or two.. about when you replace injectors sometimes you have to shim, or move them back up to adjust the fuel spray, i think... and searching has taken me no where on this... does it always have to be done? is it just for extreme perfection...- slim072590
