Battery light
A new thing started on my truck,the battery light is flickering.Cleaned the terminals and connections,no help.My battery's are not going dead it starts fine and the gauge reads in the middle of it.Any ideas,thanks for the help.- diesel dummy

Tramsformer oil?
Ok guys I may have a chance to get 273 gallons of electrical transformer oil for free.Does anyone see a problem with running it thru my centrifuge and burning it in my 7.3 idi? The oil is used as a cooling oil in the transformer,it is pcb free. It was made in 1990.- diesel dummy

Glow plug solenoid
I have a 87 7.3 idi and need to get the glow plug system working like it should.My question is the solenoid that sits on the controller for the glow plugs the same as the starter solenoid that sits on the fender well?It sure looks the same. :dunno- diesel dummy

sizzling heater
Ok pluged in the block heater on my 7.3 for the first time ,no sparks no smoke.After about an hour and a half I went and looked at it,and could hear a sizzling.The radiator was warm not hot and so was the right valve cover.Is the sizzling noise normal or do I have a problem?
