I'd like to get one fairly cheap as I don't know if it will actually help me. I'm sitting an idi in my 78 and I'm worried its going to hit the front differential.
So I'm in the middle of making the mounts and setting up my 7.3l in the 78 and I was curious if I can remove the factory filter assembly from my 7.3l and use inline filters like I put on my 7.3l powerstroke. Since the factory unit on the idi has a return line coming out of it, does that mean it...
I need those 12 point bolts that hold the turbo. I managed to get the out but pretty much destroyed them in the process. Anyone know the exact size and where to get nice replacements?
That looks like a pretty good idea. My only issue might be cutting the flange at 5 degrees so perfectly. Guess maybe I could make two and get one for hs108
What I really wanted was an ats hotside and 3" downpipe but it turns out they are made from unicorn tears and I can't find one.So this is the only other reasonable option.
Ok. I just wanted to know if I should wait around or go ahead and put the engine in my 78. I want to make sure to the down pipe will clear everything before I make the engine mounts.
dont mean to crash the thread but I'm looking for an ats 093 with the bigger hotside 90 to upgrade my factory turbo. I dont care if it needs to be rebuilt or not. Only take it if the OP gets his first :o).
I'm looking for the cdr to valve cover grommet, the turbo drain grommet, and the one that goes between the turbo pedestal and where the cdr used to plug into to cap off that intake hole.
Thanks,
Jon
