sorry...instead of laying it all out at once, i pussy-footed around and now i have to "come clean". as you saw from my ip, i am in fact in qatar. 90 octane gas is around 80 cents a gallon and 97 octane...for my ferrari...is about 1.00 a gallon and diesel is 75 cents and kero is .60 or so...
ok...my wife is a teacher here in qatar and i am a student. we are only there for a short amount of time so buying or renting a place is a waste of money because we would have to check in and out of hotels constantly so we dont. the truck is our main mode of transportation apart from family...
ok...what i meant by no room is when i am in the us my wife and soon to be son are homeless. not in your classic living in a cardboard box but in the sense we dont own any property and we are family hopping from one point to the next. space is a premium when you have to lug your shit around...

you have much searching to do young man...greasecar.com has some good stuff for heating, pabiodiesel.com for the centrifuge...your biggest problem is going to be the pump set up. you cant just throw a ac motor onto a power inverter without some problems...there is a huge surge of power that...
i currently live in the middle east (doha, qatar) and on the way to work i got gas in my wife's tiguan (97 octane @ 1.04 a gallon) and the price of diesel was about a 1.00 a gallon...while i was there i saw a flat bed truck with about 4-5K gallons of WMO. i asked him what they did with it and...

i have been looking for a dc electric motor for a little while now and have found nothing...maybe i could get a broken tread mill and link a pulley from the power steering pump to the tread mill and get the oil and a workout in?
i've heard you can run it on any diesel except for the gm 6.5. apparently it has a "sight glass" thing or something to that effect that will not allow it to run...i think mind you
