I am finally getting around to installing the turbo I picked up from Darrin on my truck. It is a Banks non-wastegated kit from a 5spd truck. Of course I have an automatic and forgot about the relocated dipstick tube.
I would like to get it installed this weekend as we going camping next...
I have a Banks non-wastegated turbo with the big rectangular aluminium intake box that came off a 5sp truck. Banks tells me the y-pipes are different for the 5 spd & E4OD versions of the turbo.
Has anyone come across this? Can I make the y-pipe fit, or am I out $400 for a new one?
Thanks...
I have 2 1992 diesel trucks, the transmissions are acting a bit flakey so I just read the codes.
The codes present are:
Truck 1 - F250
23, 26, 49, 59, 62, 29
Truck 2 - F350
62, 65, 74
Can anyone tell me what they mean?
Thanks
Chris
Will a 2wd E4od in an E350 fit in my F250? I think so, but I'm not sure.
I found an E350 that's being parted out not to far from here, but they want $1000 for the used tranny. I think that's to much unless it has very low milage. When I call it will be interesting to see if they are...
I've got to remove the injector pump & send it out to be rebuilt. Any tips, tricks, or Though Shalt no Do's? I've got the Haynes manual which isn't the best but, I shall muddle through somehow.
Thanks,
Chris
I have rust over each wheel well & a large dent behind the drivers rear wheel. I have a line on a rust free box. What's involved in the R&R?
Thanks,
Chris
