    my mistake on the quote of two filters, i ment the fuel pump deal that is along the frame on the drivers side. It looks like a filter but it does pump fuel.

    Have any of you seen a second generation body crack and split behind the seat in the cab? I've had to weld the cracks in mine. I drive alot of gravel road to work but nothing extreme. I don't know if it from to much flexing or what.

    my cummins has 240,000 miles on it and most have been on gravel, due to my job as a heavy equipment operator. I love the cummins motor but can't say much for the tinny body metal.

    Anyone heard or seen how the new daimler chrysler bodys are holding up under repeated abuse. I drive a 95 cummins on alot of rough gravel roads. The body has cracks and splits behind the cab and in the bed. I'd appreciate it if anyone has any feedback before i decide to get new one.

    chris here, i have a 95 with 240,000 without any hiccups. the oil is still clean on the dipstick after 3000 miles.
