Its just a process of elination you started out right doing a compression test but missed a few steps, Before pulling the head you should of done a leak down test to see if the rings were happy in there home. A leak down would of told you... 1 a hiss in the exhaust bad ehaust valve 2 a...- SHARPIE

Nice lookin build you got going there, If the truck is bump steering the track bar won't fix that it only centers the wheels you'll need to change the C bushings to 7* negitive, you'll only need to drop the track bar if you added a drop pitmen arm, FYI the HD rad works great with the diesel set...- SHARPIE

Slick idea found on CraigsList
I just use 4 of the bolt holes with chains and a clevis on my engine hoist, And the chains don't take up much space, That would be risky on a classic truck bed IMO.- SHARPIE

Trip to Vegas!
Oh ya I herd they had some major flooding but the other way is Kyle Cayon road about 10 miles past Mt Charleston dr, You could go up to Zion or Moab I wasn't much of a ciity type stayed away the Ripcenios I loved wheelin and the back roads, Parump there not really anything to see unless you like...- SHARPIE

turned up pump mpg?
Well a run is in with the pump cranked up and the mileage is the same the only difference is more driving in boost mode usually about 5-7psi compared to very little boost with it turned down, The only bad thing (turbo pump) I get a hell of a puff of black smoke if I jump on it to cross a street...- SHARPIE

Go up to Mt Charleston nice spot to have lunch/dinner or it used to be when I lived there and its off the tourest trip and Red Rock is a nice drive.- SHARPIE

We've all done it, When I rebuilt my first engine I didn't have a torque wrench...And well let's say it didn't end well,We all had to start somewhere and a locked engine is the perfect place to start- SHARPIE

No oil pressure - stop! Pull the stick on the side of engine! Fill - No oil pressure...Call a tow truck do not drive until it locks up. No #2 was not driving it, ""The motor was having subtle issues, new glow plugs, batteries, alternator, and then a collection of other things like...- SHARPIE

turned up pump mpg?
I've been messing with just that was getting 15mpg and 7psi boost in stock form, turned my pump down 2 flats...powerless dog any hills or passing forgetaboutit with little boost like 4 max! And it got 15 still so now Just maxed it out + 5 full turns on the turbo part (turbo IP). Will report...- SHARPIE

Most Reasonable Priced Quality 3 disc Torque Converter for a '94 IDI Van?
I put the Racer X eagle triple disk in mine with a tugger kit and love it,firm shifts with a tight lock up well worth the money.- SHARPIE
