Trans too hot?
I do about 4hr road trips in my 92 f350 back home and to off road parks. Trans runs at about 170 up until the last 1.5hrs then it's at 200 or 207 whether I'm towing or not. Engine runs at about 200. Are those trams temps too hot or are they good? Has am e4od. Thanks- Sam7.3

F250 has wiring problems and no trans and the f350 just needs to be put together and has a 5spd. Figured it'd be easy to put the f350 together than to do a 5spd swap and rewire the whole thing- Sam7.3

I have a f250 parts truck and found another parts truck for very cheap and wanted to make one good one out of the 2 since one is a 5spd and I want a 5spd 7.3 idi. Both are 1992 4x4 7.3 idi trucks. The only problem I'm looking at is one is an f350 so it has a solid axle and ones an f250 so it has...- Sam7.3

What are the TECA and FIPL? Sorry if this seems like a stupid question but I just can't figure out what they stand for :dunno. What would be causing these fueling issues? The fuel pick up line in the tank?- Sam7.3

weird transmission problems
when i was driving home from the badlands in Indiana I was unable to go over 60 mph and the trans temp was at 220F. When i switched to the front take the trans temp dropped to 180 and i was able to go to 70. what could be causing this issue??- Sam7.3

fluid capacity e4od
I recently just finished putting a transmission in my 92 f350. I went to orileys and they said it held 15qts. So i bought 24qts because i have a mag-hytec deep pan that from what ive researched holds 8qts minimum and i also needed fluid to fill the torque converter. I was in such a rush to get...- Sam7.3

ground wire locations?
Thank you laserjock, I'll take a look and see if I can find them and clean/replace them.. if there are any. I'm not too sure why the negative cable runs from the battery to the starter, I guess when it comes to wiring everyone's a PRO :Thumbs Up. The biggest problem is my engine isn't nearly as...- Sam7.3
