    Headlight Tech Articles

Your bulbs have 2 elements, the lows are not on when the highs are on. The lmc kit is gonna be just the same but with easy to follow instructions and a middle mans mark up of prob 500% for relays you can buy on ebay, parts house or a car audio shop. They usually come with their own wiring...

    7.3 won't start

I know what you were trying to say, originally I had the neg lead to the neg battery terminal, when I turned the key it showed voltage. Then I put the neg lead on the solenoid post where the wire I pulled that came from and with the pos lead still on the wire from the switch. If I am correct and...

Found it, I put a heater control valve on as is listed in the tech articles... of course it leaked coolant down onto a connector, pretty sure that's what caused it.

    HVAC blowing fuses

I can put a fuse in my fuse block for the HVAC system and it lasts until I turn the system on, to any setting. I have unplugged the fan and compressor with the same results, all I can gather is that there is a wire somewhere shorted out. I just replaced the dash about 2 months ago and used my...

    7.3 won't start

Ok so it was the starter, luckily O'reilly's warranties their starters lifetime so other than the inconvenience of not having a truck and changing a starter it was a free fix... or so I thought, now the key will not turn the truck on but if I jump the solenoid it will fire right up. I checked...

    7.3 won't start

The battery wires are only a few years old and in good condition, I jumped the solenoid and nothing changed. Lined up another set of wheels, I'll just have to put this thing on the back burner and hope I get the job to fund a newer second truck... so I can run parts for this...

    7.3 won't start

Been having trouble starting my truck for about a week, it acts like the batteries are low and will barely turn the motor over, and had one bad glow plug causing hard starts as well. Been using ether or parking on a hill for the time as I'm out in the country working and had not gone into town...

Might part out a truck, have a question

I'll buy some of your dash pieces, I need the gauge cluster, clear plastic cover for gauges, dash piece that houses the headlight/wiper/fuel switch to the left of the steering column, and might as well throw in the dash piece that goes to the right of the right of the steering column; if you...
