good stuff, thanks for the tips, I'll keep the post updated. Made a trip near mulino to pick up a couple of 427 ford fe engines not to long ago from a 60's chris craft commander, best people there, everyone has guns.:sly- NintendoKD

good question, appears under load, not sure the rpm's but how to determine boost leak? I have new exhaust mani gaskets, and all new crossover pipe , dp, and exhaust, so no exhaust leaks. Yeah, it's kind of like a screech, like the turbo did when it died on me. like nails on a chalkboard kind...- NintendoKD

I just finished refreshing my idi, with new injectors, and a new rebuilt turbo. the injectors are new Delphi turbo, for 94's. The turbo is a rebuilt unit from bec's also for a 94' I have an rdt, where the intake is blocked off and the cdr, now clean, just dumps behind the engine. My oil runs...- NintendoKD

6.5 buildup
I picked up a 6.5 with 150k running, no smoke, from a 97 silverado. I also have a military hummer pump, and a wastegate spring control from the same. The idea is to "egr delete plate already made". Looking into said mods. As well as stage 1 options. I see that going big on injectors isn't a good idea? Couldn't I just de-tune and change later for when I'm not towing? Or am I missing something??? Looks like more fuel means more egt's but that can be fixed with tuning, right? I think...- NintendoKD

looks like rosewood diesel injectors are the way to go for reman at 1650 thats a deal, everyone else is in the 1800+ range. since the d66 can only be had from beans I guess I'll have to go with them, and the hydra, well there is only one vendor I can find for that too. Ok, so I plan to do a lot of heavy towing "10k+" I want to go with 238/100 hybrids but I'm stuck on the turbo to go with? I read a lot of speculation. Rear tank plugged???
Not sure, but I not cutting into the lines to find out. The few inches I removed to the rear tank were clean and clear. It would pass some air but very little, the line gargled when I did this. But very little fuel even dripped out. The lines were essentially dry. If I had more time I would...- NintendoKD

We don't have hookers here in 29 palms, we have desert yetis. And you don't have to pay them for that, unless you pay in ****. My compressor leaks like a us navy vessel, otherwise I would have used it, I really need to fix that dad thing.- NintendoKD

I posted a new thread for it but I figured I'd post here for finality. The e-pump works great, better even after I fixed the leak on a threaded connector. I replaced the entire fuel line because of a clog, I hurt my cheeks trying to blow air through it.- NintendoKD

Yup, I tried to clear the line and it was like trying to blow up One of those tiny balloons at a party. My cheeks still hurt. Everything seems good now.- NintendoKD
