The engine was rebuilt. The guy said that two of the cylinders got holes in the cause these motors are known for that? I have no idea but they were sleeved and the rings and everything were replaced.- musclecarguy91

I mean I don't need anything with lots of power. I've heard you can get 300 out of these and that is perfectly fine for me. I just want a diesel truck thats loud and blows some smoke.- musclecarguy91

Why is it won't be as loud as a powerstroke? The engines are the came size? I just don't understand what makes the powerstroke that much more different? I understand engines, but I'm a lot more familiar with gas engines. This may sound dumb but is there a way to make a 7.3 idi a powerstroke or...- musclecarguy91

I was sent her from a guy on powerstroke.org. I looked through the FAQ's to make sure I wasn't asking something asked several times. My cousin's friend has a 94 7.3 IDI non turbo with 215000 miles on it and the motor was just completely redone with over 2500 into it. The body is in pretty good...- musclecarguy91
