I used cereal box cardboard for templates. I took off the radio bezel trim piece and traced the flat part above the radio, that was my base. Then I made another template that was the same size of the base of the store-bought cup holder, but also, I made it follow the dash trim piece that...- F350farmboy

I built a fiberglass/metal base for said store bought cupholder and places it on the dash above the radio/hvac controls. It works great! Its not too high and I can grab my drink and put it back without even looking off the road! I have had disposable plastic cups in there before and once its 1/2...- F350farmboy

tubular manifolds
I would want to have long tubers flowing into a remote mounted turbo :sly I think that'll flow nicer than shorties and the X-over pipe- F350farmboy

I may be nutless...
Yeah these N/A's are pretty tough, slow but tough....Tuesday I had close to 4,000lbs of top soil in the bed of the '89 and from the back it looked like a 2wd LOL it hauled it 30 miles with authority. Very little smoke on take-offs and had no problems getting to 65 mph, but I did cause these...- F350farmboy

Yeah no kidding! It took me 5 mins to look through all the pictures. I love the 3 undercarriage pics on the lift taken so it looks like 1 long pic. Yeah, you pretty much hit the nail on the head warden. We are part of TDIClub.com. I'm pretty sure the coolant is even a special coolant available from the dealer. Tools? yeah, there's plenty of specialty tools...sprocket holders, stoppers, etc,etc...there's a box of them on the shelf we might...- F350farmboy
